Urgent Assistance for Ahmed's Displaced Family

Hello, my name is Rachel and I have been asked by Ahmed to start a new fundraiser campaign for him and his family to survive and hopefully evacuate Gaza.

Recently, Ahmed sent me information showing that their fundraiser had been paused, and they were unable to withdraw funds. This is devastating to say the least and could be further risking their lives in the worst-case scenario.

I found the original campaign through Operation Olive Branch and have been using my platform and my business to help raise funds for this family. I also found Ahmed on IG, and started communication with him directly.

I chose this family because Ahmed's parents are the same age as my husband and me (early 40's), and Ahmed and his older sister are the same age as my own children.

A little bit about the family: Ahmed was in his 2nd year of software engineering studies, and his older sister Hala was in her 4th year of university, studying English. His parents are Iyad and Sumer. Iyad has a Bachelor's in Education, and Sumar a Computing degree. Ahmed has 2 more siblings: his brother Karim (high school) and Tia (age 10) who also goes by Toto.

Before October of 2023, they led a normal life. Since then, their home has been destroyed and they have been displaced multiple times. They have been very close to multiple attacks and have had extended family members injured and martyred. To find any food or shelter is very difficult and also quite expensive.

Until a peaceful resolution is found, this family desperately needs continued support!

I will provide any updates shared with me, but contact is limited. Ahmed has to walk a great distance to get to internet connection.
