Annual B-Day & Holiday Fundraiser

No obligations, but if you have a few spare dollars and a generous heart, I welcome you to support me in this cause as you will make a difference in my small hometown community of Waldo County in the brutally cold state of Maine.

Every year around this time I am asked what I would like to receive as a birthday and/or Christmas gift. While I do appreciate the thought, I'd rather do something more special for my birthday and holiday celebrations.

This all started with my high school English teacher. She was very kind, caring and giving to her students and community. If you don't know the story, she had numerous bouts with cancer before loss to it. Even during her hardships she made sure to do good and help others.

Unfortunately with her passing, her charitable work went with it. I had to track down the proper place to do this and I actually ended up starting a non-profit to help make this easier for supporters of myself and community. Don't worry, I take absolutely 0% of any money raised.

Every year we seem to be able to donate more & more than the previous year. I believe between donations and matching on my end, we did $6500 or more for this. This year I hope to do the same give or take....and maybe with a little holiday magic we can tickle $7000.

I've pledged $3000 of my own money to this, but I think with your help we can get another $3000 or $4000 for a cold community in Maine.
