More information about Kids in Crisis: Kids in Crisis has provided critical crisis prevention and intervention to more than 148,000 children and their families in CT since 1978. We are the only CT agency that provides free, 24/7 phone and in-person crisis counseling interventions and emergency shelter for any newborn to 17 year old. We also provide crisis prevention education and intervention programs in 23 Fairfield County elementary, middle and high schools, and advocacy for kids at the national, regional, state, and local levels.
