Medical Bills and Family Expenses

It was 3 a.m when I received the phone call with the 7 words I’ve always dreaded, “your Dad is having a heart attack!” I thought to myself that this can’t be happening. You hear about people having a heart attack and you prepare to know all of the tell tale signs but nothing can prepare you for the actual moment it happens. My mom called me hysterically crying saying, “ your dad is having a heart attack and I need you to meet me at the hospital now!” My mom was so upset it was hard to communicate with her. I got the information about exactly what was going on and proceeded to the hospital where my dad and mom were. I got there just in time to give my dad a hug before they took him back to surgery as his pain was getting worse and his heart attack was going on longer. I found out from my mom that my dad was being taken by her to the nearest hospital because of the pain in his chest. His pain was getting much worse so my mom called 911 on the way to the hospital and had an ambulance take him the rest of the way which turned out to be the best choice because if we had waited any longer he would have went into cardiac arrest. After waiting a couple hours, my dad was finally out of surgery and we were told he was in the ICU and we can go see him. His procedure went well and he had 5 Stents placed in two of his arteries. He will be in the hospital for a few days and will be off of work for three weeks at least. I’m setting up this go fund me account to raise money for my dads bills and expenses. My dad will be out of work for three weeks at least which means no income and they won’t be able to pay the bills. If you can find it in your heart to donate, the family would appreciate the help.
