Axel’s ACL surgery

Those of you who know me, or have even met me once, know how much I love my dogs and how much happiness they bring me. Recently, my baby boy Axl started limping, and not putting any weight on his back leg. He’s such a playful dog so I figured he was just sore from playing, but after it persisted for two days, I took him to the vet. There they told me he had a torn ACL ligament, probably from getting his leg caught on something while running around. They said he needed surgery and it will cost around $5,000, plus extra fees for after care and meds. I normally have funds set aside for any emergencies with my dogs, but last year, one of my other dog Reeces had to have emergency surgery due to his epilepsy, which i am still paying off today. I don’t normally feel comfortable asking others for money, but the longer I wait to get Axl’s surgery, the worse the injury could get, and I simply don’t have the funds right now, even working full time. I would be eternally grateful if you considered donating even the smallest amount to my precious baby. Axl is the most loving dog, and he loves to run around & play all day. If you know him, you know how awesome and loyal he is, and how he has helped me through so much.
