Help with ongoing medical bills

Hi my name is Michelle and I am fundraising to help cover major ongoing medical bills.

Our story is as such... November 2020, I has started having issue with my stomach thinking I ate too much after a weekend of fun. Well, I figured it was my gallbladder and adjusted my diet to combat it. It worked until my birthday in June, I started rapidly loosing weight and not eating as much. Months later, and still no change, in fact much worse.... So I promised my husband that for his birthday I'd get checked out.... Three days later, November 9th 2021, I went in thinking.."well, I guess my gallbladder has to go. " After a ton of tests, and sitting in a hallway ....the ER Dr. says, "we found a mass in your colon, we don't know how you are functioning". My world went blank. My husband wasn't even there to deal with this....I called him..don't remember what I said. But, we just needed to get through it. By that Tues, I was having emergency surgery to take out a nine inch piece of colon, and lymph nodes. By that weekend I was home again, sore and scared. We still didn't know anything other than " we think it's cancer, but we think we got it" On Thanksgiving we found out it was cancerous. But a contained stage 2....Now it's January 2022, it's cancer.....we have been in a whirlwind of tests, appointments, blood work, special cancer blood test, Genetic testing, Oncologists....and if I will need treatment, now that I will not need anymore surgery. So bills and costs are still piling up. Fast forward to February, and things look good, but income is super tight....and insurance only covers so much.

The whole time we have been down to one income and me not being able to help contribute or work until we have a final diagnosis is difficult, and frustrating.

Anyone who does know us, understands how hard it is for us to ask for any help, let alone admit we need it. We are usually the family doing the fundraising and on the other side of these things. But the bills are getting way out of control, and we need help. These funds will take care of major outstanding bills and hopefully upcoming ones as well.
