MISSING PERSON - Amy Elizabeth Fahlman - Calgary

I, Trevor Miller (cousin), and the Fahlman family, are reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help. Amy Elizabeth Fahlman, has been missing since Friday September 29th, and we are desperately trying to bring her back safely.

Amy is an incredible person who has a deep love for nature and a remarkable talent for capturing its beauty through her art. She often spends her days painting the stunning landscapes in the beautiful area surrounding Calgary, Alberta. However, her last adventure has turned into an agonizing nightmare for our family.

Amy was last seen north of the Cochrane area, doing what she loves most - immersing herself in the wilderness and painting the outdoors. The RCMP, Search and Rescue teams, and hundreds of selfless volunteers have joined forces to search for her, tirelessly searching the Alberta terrain in hopes of finding any clue to her whereabouts.

How Funds Will Be Used:

As you can imagine, conducting an extensive search operation like this comes with significant expenses. That's why we are humbly asking for your support. The funds raised through this GoFundMe campaign will go directly towards sustaining and expanding the search efforts through donations to our dedicated volunteer Search and Rescue (SAR) teams from all over Calgary area. Our goal is to help increase awareness of their heroic actions to help ensure other missing persons can be found with as much or more support than what we have been incredibly honoured to have received. Additionally, contributions will cover other costs for helicopter support, essential supplies like fuel, food, and water for other volunteer ATV and dirtbike riders, horseback search teams, and hikers. We also are providing various equipment to keep our volunteers safe, such as high-vis vests, safety orange clothing, walkie talkies, flashlights, bear spray, etc.

These volunteer Search and Rescue teams play a vital role throughout the community, offering their time and expertise to locate missing individuals in challenging circumstances. These teams utilize their training in navigation, first aid, and wilderness survival to tirelessly comb through rugged terrain, often in adverse weather conditions. Their commitment to reuniting lost persons with their families has yielded countless heartwarming success stories, providing solace to worried loved ones.
