Plea for help: assist family evacuation from war-torn Gaza

Hello,

I am Shahad Al Haddad, a recent pharmacy graduate from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Palestine, with an excellent academic record. I am engaged to Mohammed Al Ramlawi, a kind and hardworking young man in the car trade. We were meticulously planning our wedding for October 27, 2023, and building our life together when everything was shattered by the war on Gaza that began on October 7, 2023.

We had been carefully constructing our home, paying attention to every detail, from selecting colors and designs to purchasing household furniture. Tragically, our home was completely destroyed, and my fiancé lost his job due to the destruction of his workplace. Additionally, my family and in-laws have suffered brutal assaults and arrests by the occupation forces, and my brother-in-law has been missing for over five months.

Now, we find ourselves in the northern Gaza Strip, particularly in Gaza City, enduring nights filled with fear, darkness, and the sounds of shelling and tanks. We are surviving under harsh conditions without basic necessities—no water, no food, and no shelter. Desperately, we search for anything the land can yield to sustain our lives.

This message is a heartfelt plea for help from anyone with a conscience. We have lost everything and urgently need financial assistance to leave Gaza and seek safety in Egypt. Your support will help us rebuild our lives and find refuge from this devastating conflict.
