Wer bin ich?

Mein Name ist Michelle Paninka, ich bin 23 Jahre alt und befinde mich im letzten Semester meines Filmstudiums. Diesen Sommer werde ich meinen Bachelor machen und arbeite derzeit an meinem Abschlussfilm. Als junge Filmemacherin trage ich alle anfallenden Kosten selbst, da meine Familie nicht über ausreichende Gelder verfügt, um mich finanziell zu unterstützen. Daher bin ich auf eure Unterstützung angewiesen.

Worum geht es in dem Film?

"Sway" ist ein queeres Musical, das die Geschichte von Madeleine erzählt, die bereit ist, alles zu geben, um ihren Traum zu verwirklichen – auf dem Broadway zu tanzen. Im Verlauf dieser Reise verliebt sie sich in Alessandra, wodurch sie gefährdet ist ihren Fokus auf die Karriere zu verlieren; Alessandra ist nämlich ihre Trainerin für die bevorstehende Aufnahmeprüfung.

Warum ist mir dieses Projekt wichtig?

Es ist mir ein Anliegen, mehr queere Geschichten zu erzählen und die Vielfalt der Menschen vor und hinter der Kamera zu fördern. In meinem Film steht nicht die Sexualität im Vordergrund, sondern die Charaktere und ihre Geschichten.

Help Me Bring My Graduation Film to the Screen! :)

About me

My name is Michelle Paninka, I am 23 years old and currently in my final semester of film studies. This summer, I will complete my bachelor's degree and am currently working on my graduation film. As a young filmmaker, I bear all the costs myself, since my family does not have sufficient funds to support me financially. Therefore, I rely on your support.

What is the film about?

"Sway" is a queer musical that tells the story of Madeleine, who is ready to do everything to achieve her dream of dancing on Broadway. During this journey, she falls in love with Alessandra, which distracts her from focusing on her goal - because Alessandra is her instructor for her upcoming audition.

Why is this project important to me?

It is important to me to tell more queer stories and to promote diversity among people both in front of and behind the camera. In my film, the focus is not on sexuality, but on the characters and their stories.

How will the donations be used?

Your donations will go directly into the production of the film. This includes:

- Travel expenses for the team and actors

- Rent for filming locations

- Catering for the cast and crew during shooting

- Costs for acquiring costumes
