Help Emily Study Abroad In Italy

Hi everyone, My name is Emily, and I am currently a freshman in high school. I recently applied to study abroad over the summer, and was so excited to hear that I was accepted! The program will take place in Rome Italy, where I will learn to speak Italian and their culture, all while exploring the city at the same time.

Traveling has always been something I love. Being able to not only witness but also see other cultures and participate in them has always been something I deeply value. It gives me a chance to connect with the world in ways I had always thought wasn't possible, but this program will only deepen my ability to do so. I will attend classes to learn a new language and explore historical monuments. This program lasts about a month and is a rare opportunity for me to have an in-depth learning of not only Italy but its people as well.

However, the study abroad trip is costly, and the total amount is $7,200. Any funds donated will be used to pay off the trip. I've already applied for a scholarship that the program provided, but the results will not be out until February. Until then, I will continue to apply for any other scholarships I find. The goal is to help pay off as much as possible, so please consider donating to help me achieve my dream of discovering the world and the people within it.
