Tommy’s recovery
Donation protected
Hi I’m Tommy Jackson I’m fundraising because, on September 12, 2023 I went into the emergency room at Emory for extremely uncomfortable boils. In less then an hour time I was in emergency surgery to remove these boils leaving a gaping wound, I was diagnosed with a severe case necrotizing fasciitis causing my body to become septic. I’ve been hospitalized since September 12 with the doctors predicting 8 to 10 more weeks of recovery. I’ve been working in the lighting industry for over 20 years and I’ve acquired a decent lifestyle for myself however, this event is threatening everything I’ve worked so hard to accomplish. And though I made it to the hospital in a nick of time to save my life, the healing process is a lengthy one specifically due to me being diabetic. This unforeseen medical emergency has not only drained me physically it’s also draining me financially, because I unfortunately can not work until I’ve fully recovered. Any donations that is given will be majorly appreciated. Thank you.
