On the evening of December 26, 2015 Brian and the boys had just finished dinner and settled down to play Xbox while Michele was at work at the Vet clinic. Brian heard a loud storm approaching the house and went out back to check things out. The roar of the approaching tornado became louder and louder and he yelled for the twins to get into the bathtub. The boys all rode out the tornado in the bathtub and thankfully no one was injured. After the tornado has passed and it became quiet they all got out of the tub and went outside. Brian found the two dogs Ripley and Knox and had the boys stay in the front yard with the dogs while he and some neighbors went house to house and helped pull people out. Two young neighbor kids were home alone while their parents were at the movies. He had the kids come stay with the boys and texted their parents that they were safe and where they were. Brian and the boys and dogs then walked down Chiesa Road and met Jon and Cindy Ragsdale at the gas station and they were all taken back to the Ragsdale's for the night.

At this point it's hard to even think about what all they will need. Brian's work truck is in the front yrd burried under a large Oak Tree. His personal truck has windows blown out and is stuck in the backyard.

We all went back the morning  of the 27th and collected as many personal effects as possible.  They do have a place to stay with Cindy's parents. All the animals have been rescued which was a huge relief.
