Rebuild my life in North of Gaza
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Ibrahim Alkhalili, a 27-year-old from Gaza City, Palestine. In recent years, my family and I have suffered unimaginable losses due to continuous conflict. The most recent aggression on October 7th has left our lives in shambles, including the destruction of our family business, homes, and much more.
In 2014, I lost 9 family members during the aggression on Gaza, including my oldest brother, his wife, their three children, my second oldest brother, his pregnant wife, and their young daughter. This tragic event marked a profound loss that has impacted us deeply.
As of October 7th, the situation worsened when another wave of aggression devastated Gaza City. Our family business, which specialized in trading and manufacturing home cleaning supplies, was destroyed. This business was not just a source of income but a symbol of our dedication and hard work.
The destruction did not stop there:
- I lost my job and the foundation of our family’s livelihood.
- The business premises were completely demolished.
Our family home, along with another property
our houses
our business
along with another property belonging to my kidnapped brother Mohammed were destroyed. Each was valued at $80,000.
- Three of our cars were crushed under military tanks; I have photographic evidence of this.
- All personal belongings including cash, phones, and laptops were lost in the chaos.
The Impact:
The destruction has thrust my family and me into a dire situation of joblessness and hunger, compounded by the ongoing conflict. Our neighborhood's familiar sights and sounds are now replaced with despair and mourning.
What We Need:
We are trying to raise a minimum $50,000 to help rebuild our lives. Here’s how the funds will be used:
- $160,000 for rebuilding the two homes (including my brother's).
- $15,000 to replace the lost vehicles.
- $10,000 to restart the business with basic equipment and supplies.
- $5,000 for immediate family relief including food, medicine, and temporary shelter.
- Your support means everything to us. It not only helps us rebuild but also restores hope and stability in our lives.
