Help us save these horses!

We were notified about an emergency situation of two horses that are in need of help. These mares are extremely malnourished, starving and in desperate need for medical care. The original owner is not able to provide for them and animal control has stepped in. Our 25 acre farm, 'Riverbend Farm & Stables' is located in Plainwell, MI and we have decided to step up and help. These horses will be transported to our farm ASAP thanks to a friend donating their time and trailer for transport. This will be a temporary hold until 'Home Sanctuary' (you can find them on FB) is able to give them their forever home. We are thankful for Michele from 'Michele's Rescue' located in Grand Rapids, she has helped locate this sanctuary for them. We anticipate having them for approximately 6-8 weeks. We are asking for donations to go towards their medical care which will include: dentistry, vet farm calls, fecal checks, meds and vaccines. Anything additional will be put towards feed and hay. We're asking from the bottoms of our hearts that you consider donating to help these beautiful animals. They are 24 & 30 years old and still deserve a shot at a loving, healthy life.
