On November 6th, 2018, we received a notice regarding the dispossession of our home. After 15 years of working nearly 7 days a week in order to ensure a roof over our head, my mother (a non-english speaking immigrant) was unable to secure our home permanently. Since then, we have searched for housing and have not been able to acquire the necessary funds in order to do so. Numerous apartment complexes in the area have rejected us housing due to the eviction. Family members have also rejected to help us in the area. As some of you know, I am a 4th year undergraduate at the University of Georgia, planning on graduating in May of 2019. With very limited resources, myself as well as my younger sister are trying our best to not drop out of school and help my mother as best as we can. By November 30th, 2018, both my sister and mother must have all our possessions removed from our home. We need your help to gain the necessary funds for a security deposit and for other moving expenses. I, on behalf of my mother and sister, ask for your help in this familial emergency. All the money received will go directly to my mother and sister to get back on their feet. Thank you so much in advance. With a heavy heart I send all my love to everyone who has sent kind words and love. xoxo
