Alternative Breaks: Costa Rica

To our dear friends and family! This January, we participated in a community empowerment and sustainability service trip to Los Santos, Costa Rica. We paired with a community partner, Green Communities to facilitate socio-economic development through a variety of different projects. We were able to build a sidewalk to connect neighboring towns, worked on an organic farm, and compacted recycled material into over 500 recycled bottles to create an eco-brick bench.
