To friends and family,
Our dear Shawn Riley passed away on January 26th, 2021, 14 days after turning 30. For those of you that knew him, you knew that he was a fighter. Shawnie fought til the very end. So much so, that none of us thought it was the end just yet. And like so many during this time, we are devastated.
People tell you that you should prepare for death. That it is inevitable. That no one is too good to beat it. Well Shawnie deserved to, if anyone. He touched the lives of so many with his unforgettable smile, his unrivaled work ethic, and his genuine, kind-hearted soul.
Shawnie was truly a one-of-a-kind.
As you can imagine, these times have not been kind to our family. While we have some funds readily available, there will be many more expenses. The main expense being that we make sure that we are able to fly Shawn home, honorably and safely, to give him a proper funeral and burial. That is why we are reaching out to you all in hopes that you will show your support. Not for us, but for Shawn.
Every donation will help get us closer to Shawn being laid to rest peacefully where he belongs.
We want to thank you deeply for even considering donating, and for taking the time to read about our beloved Shawnie.
We wish you peace, blessings, prosperity, and all the love in the world.
Best regards,
The Riley Family
