Miss Black Florida USA Pageant

Hello, my name is Rasheedah Shahid, and I’m tuning in today to seek your support for an exciting and impactful cause. I am proud to announce my participation in the Miss Black Florida USA pageant, representing the city of Cape Coral. This platform celebrates the beauty, intelligence, and talent of African American women all over the US. The Miss Black Florida USA pageant is not just a beauty competition. It is a movement that empowers young women of color to achieve their fullest potential, promote positive self-image, and engage in community service. By participating, I have the opportunity to advocate for important issues surrounding the spiritual & holistic health, contribute to my community, and inspire women of all ages.

 My goal is to raise $1,200 to cover the costs associated with participating in the pageant, including travel, attire, coaching, photoshoots and preparation. I aim to raise 85% of this amount by October 1st, which is just around the corner. The Full 100% by October 22, few days after my birthday! Your support will not only help me participate in this pageant but also enable me to represent our community on a larger stage, highlighting the importance of diversity and inclusion.
