Help this Nanny Recover from Back Surgery

I will be having major back surgery March 13th. I have two herneated discs that are pressing on my sciatic nerve. This causes constant daily pain, and even at times, paralysis. I have been hospitalized several times, I have tried physical therapy and even steroid injections in my back. Nothing has worked, and I'm left with surgery as my final option. The procedure is called a Laminectomy. I will be out of work for 6 weeks for recovery. As an in-home nanny, I do not receive PTO, or any type of workers comp. My job has been helpful, but I'm putting this up to make sure I can survive for 6 weeks. My bills include rent, gas to/from follow up appts, groceries, car insurance, electric, internet/cable, phone and my dogs food and vet necessities.
