We are deeply saddened to say our loved one Debra A. Davy made her transition on August 9, 2015. Over the years, Debra made great accomplishments throughout her carreer.
Debra graduated from Kettering Sr. High School, and went on to Eastern Michigan University, graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Communication Arts. After college, Debra became your afternoon voice for "Doing it with Debra" on WCHB. Debra then went on to WJZZ where her radio voice continued to entertain and inspired her Detroit audience. Debra became a member of the Detroit Radio Voices LLC; this organization perserves the history of Urban Radio. She then furthered her career with Barden Cablevison/Comcast as an Account Executive. She continued to lend her voice and talents doing voice overs, public service announcements and ads.
Debra received certification for Wholistic Health Coach and Reconnective Healing Practitioner from 1986 through 2008.
The Davy Family has established the Debra Davy Memorial Fund to help defray the funeral, burial, and medical expenses for Debra. Thank you to the community for your continued prayers and support for the family during this difficult time.
