Will Alexander Needs Our Help!

Hi, my name is Liam, and William “Will” Alexander is my dad.

You might know him from when he showed 'Miss P,' the cutest Beagle, to Best in Show at the Westminster Kennel Club show in 2015. Or maybe you know him from his long involvement with purebred dogs, which started when he was a kid. Dad retired from professional handling and has begun a new chapter as a dog show judge. He also teaches handling classes and seminars to give back to the dog show community. He and one of his best friends Wayne Cavanaugh have a podcast on YouTube called *The Dog Show Drive*. Dad also interviews people we all know and love for *Canine Chronicle*.

My dad has always given everything to the dog show world. It’s who he is, and dogs have been his whole life.

You may have heard that right now, my dad, who I love with all my heart, is facing the hardest challenge of his life. He’s been dealing with serious health problems for the last few years. He has been in and out of the ICU at our local hospital, and he’s already had several surgeries to fix a blockage in his intestines. He will need more surgeries, once he gets strong enough. The doctors tell us it will be a slow road ahead for my dad.

This has been the scariest time for our family. We're doing everything we can, but Dad won’t be able to work for a long time while he recovers. He’s got daily expenses and will need extra medical equipment and care as he gets through this.

Dad’s biggest worry is taking care of us. I want him to just focus on getting better without stressing over the bills. That’s why I’m asking if anyone in the dog community could help my dad with a donation, no matter how small. It would make such a difference and let him focus on healing instead of worrying about everything else.
