Supporting Julie

Most of you who know my sister Julie, know that she is a wonderfully generous soul who nurtures people through food, hugs and love, and would do anything for anyone.

For more than 20 years she has advocated for and supported farmers and local food producers across Australia.

 

Now is our time to give back to Julie.

 

She is about to undergo surgery and will require some time off to recover and regenerate. She may also require ongoing medical treatment. Julie has just started in a new job so doesn't have paid leave, and is also supporting her son Oli through college.

 

With your help, we can take the financial pressure off things such as rent (scarily expensive in Hobart), living expenses and the out of pocket medical expenses that accompany surgery in a private hospital.

 

Julie has begrudgingly accepted this offer of help as she doesn't feel that she deserves this type of support.

 

We know better ;)
