Declan's Gym

My 3 year old son Declan is autistic and attends an amazing school in Ronkonkoma for autistic children.  I recently visited their gym and was surprised by the lack of equipment.  I spoke with the director of the school and they simply lack the funds to properly equip the gym.  She specifically mentioned how expensive floor mats were.  I reached out to a friend who owns a martial arts school.  He was selling 8 used floor mats for $350 a piece.  He offered to sell them to me for $100 a piece to help the school.  I informed the school that they would be getting 8 floor mats and they were extremely greatful.  I thought I would take this opportunity to try and raise some money to properly equip the gym for the children at DDI.  I asked the school for a wishlist of gym equipment.  They are meeting this afternoon to compile the wishlist.      This is what the gym currently looks like.  Hopefully it looks very different in the near future.
