Fabio Angelo's Celebration of Life

Our beloved and cherished friend, Fabio Angelo, dancer extraordinaire, lost his life on February 28, 2023, in a tragic swimming accident in Curaçao. Fabio leaves behind Javier, his love of thirteen years and husband of eight years -- also our beloved friend and dancer -- as well as family and friends in his native Argentina, in Puerto Rico and in the United States, his adopted home.

 

We will remember Fabio for both his artistic talents and for his kind, beautiful and generous soul. He was truly an angel among mortals. Fabio generously contributed his talent to several Broadway Bares performances to raise funds for dancers living with AIDS and other afflictions. Fabio, a proud member of Actor’s Equity, also performed in film (In the Heights) and on stage in Evita (NY City Center), West Side Story (The Guthrie Theater), On Your Feet (WBT) and All Shook Up (Westchester Theater) among many others shows. Over the years, Fabio most loved performing aboard cruise ships which he did for Holland America and Royal Caribbean. And, before coming to the United States, Fabio performed and choreographed for Argentinian icons Moria Casan and Carmen Barbieri.

 

Please join our community of dancers, family and friends as we raise funds to defray costs for medical treatment, the transport of our beloved Fabio back to the United States, funeral arrangements and travel by family members living in Argentina and elsewhere. We also wish to help Fabio’s husband Javier to get on his feet and adjust to his changed financial circumstances.
