Fable Bound - An Adventure in the Viking Spirit

Fable Bound is a Viking long ship and interactive story book, that invites you to climb aboard and embody the bravest version of yourself. Work with other riders to move the ship along the rolling ocean. Bring your more adventurous self, add your story to the hull of the ship and contribute to the collective tales of adventure.

Fable Bound is a wooden Viking long ship that appears to be rising out of the desert and riding ocean waves. The ship will move with the participants weight shifting the entire structure. Surrounded by "water" and climbable from bow to stern and to the top of the mast with the help of nets and rigging. The ship will appear as if the ocean rose out of the desert to float it on its journey.

The ship is being built in Denver, Colorado by the Build to Strike art collective and will be brought to the 2024 Burning Man event in the Black Rock Desert.
