Help us buy fabric and supplies for Charity Makes
BrumScrubs is a group of volunteer sewers in Birmingham which was created initially to make scrubs for the NHS in early April 2020.
With the news that face coverings are mandatory in shops from 24th July, our focus has shifted to producing face coverings for the community of Birmingham.
We have made and distributed 7000 face covers in our city, to schools, community groups, and charitable organisations such as:
Age UK
The Salvation Army
The Children's Society
Migrant Help
Brum Baby Bank
The Active Wellbeing Society
Arts in the Yard
Colmore School
Allens Croft School
and many many more.
We currently provide 400 a week free of charge to charities, community centres and food banks, and the demand is rising fast.
Please donate to our fundraiser. Just £10 will buy enough material and elastic to make 30 masks.
If you would like to volunteer to sew with us, please visit LinkVolunteer.co.uk and select BrumScrubs. We would love for you to join our team.
Thank you.
