face masks for healthcare workers Barcelona

Hospitals in Spain are overwhelmed by patients with COVID19 and sadly more than 10% of all cases are healthcare workers.  They are in dire need of protective gear such as proper face masks. 

We want to raise a minimum of EUR 4000 to raise funds to buy N95 masks for the front line workers in a hospital in Barcelona. 

Thanks to  our many years of living and working in Hong Kong we have the connections to source certified face masks directly from a factory.  The cost per mask is roughly EUR 4.00 plus shipping.  From the time we place the order until the masks arrive in Spain it will take between 10 and 14 days.

How do we plan to raise the funds?  We (Ralph Birke & Tim Kremer) will attempt an "everesting" on a smart trainer indoors in the virtual world of RGT Cycling and ride Mt Ventoux until we reached 8848m ascent meters.  

If (a big if I think) this will take us about 14-15 hours of non stop cycling indoors.
