Face Shield Fund- Help Our Neighbors!
Donation protected
Meet the Picha family; Sherry, Jarrod and their two teenagers Mason and Lilly. A while back, Jarrod purchased a 3D printer just to play around with it. The Picha family is now using that 3D printer to help a group of people who desperately need it during this trying and scary time- our medical professionals.
With the assistance of certified designs from the National Institute of Health, the Picha family is using their 3D printer to create face shields for as many people who work in the medical field as they can.
I started this Go Fund Me as a way for our to community assist the Picha family in procuring the resources that they need to continue to make these face shields; since they started the project, the plastic used to make the masks has more than DOUBLED in price.
Anything you would be willing to donate will go directly to the Picha's to purchase the plastic, elastic, etc. to continue making the shields- I am hopeful that we can raise enough money so that they can procure a 2nd 3D printer to be able to increase the number of masks that they can make in a day.
We all have someone in our families, our friend groups, our churches that work in the medical field- let's do our part to help protect them with these face shields.
Any questions, comments or concerns can be directed to [email redacted].
Thank you so much for your consideration and I hope you all stay happy, safe and healthy!
