COVID-19 Healthcare Face Shields Project
Donation protected
Healthcare workers and First Responders are in dire need of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). A small group of volunteers are partnering with manufacturing companies to produce face shields per the guidance from John's Hopkins University Medicine. We have made 2,600 shields for local hospitals and healthcare facilities and are putting in our own labor, facility costs, and some upfront materials costs to produce the initial prototypes and first small batch. We need your help to get more out to the front line workers. Please consider donating for material costs so we can produce over 50k of these shields. The face shields will be bagged and donated to hospitals or other health care facilities around the Dayton and Cincinnati areas daily. These shields provide additional protection and conserve N-95 masks and goggles. All donations will be used to offset production costs of the shields (approx $3/shield) and will be provided FREE to the Healthcare workers and First Responders. Please consider donating whatever you can and share this fundraiser with friends, family and co-workers. Thank you & God Bless!”
