Face Shields for the Kootenay COVID frontline
Donation protected
Thanks for all the support!
Update Mar 25: We have surpassed our original fundraising goals, thanks!. We now are looking to purchase respirators and other PPE to stockpile and prepare for our region's front line staff. All donations will continue to go towards PPE procurement for the Kootenay Boundary region.
The first phase of fundraising will go towards supplying as many face shields to the community healthcare workers as possible or as needed.
End Update
A team of generous and bright engineers and technicians have came together to supply our hospitals with more personal protective gear during this COVID outbreak. They are helping to protect our healthcare workers and the patients we will be treating.
We need to raise funds to help cover the costs of materials. Any extra funds on top of material costs will go towards buying more personal protective gear like gowns and masks.
Also, if you know of any 3d printers in the community that could help with the cause, reach out to me. If you have any other ideas of how you can help the healthcare system during this outbreak, please contact me.
Sincerely,
Lee Wasilenko
