Colleen's House Fire Fund

This Fund is to benefit Colleen M. Kelly, RN. She had just moved into a new place in Athol and had lived there for 6 nights with her 2 cats, Goober and Tuukka, until a major FIRE broke out and ended up mostly in her bedroom, and her stored items. The funds will be used for replacing clothing, relocation fees, replacing items that were thrown out the window of the bedroom such as a TV, brandnew laptop, Telephones, her parents special keepsakes, who had just passed away on her last year at this time.  Everyone is asking what they can do to help, and the help Colleen needs right now is fiancial to cover replacing everything that currently she is not even aware that she lost. She has been through so much these past 2 years and has been such a power of example to so many. She lost both her parents, 29 days apart, in October and November of 2015. She then had major brain surgery again, then she ended up in the hospital in October and November of 2016 for almost 4 weeks. She is battling many medical issues from a Post Trauma Head Injury in 2005, one of which they think may be cancerous. She never gives up hope and always finds her strength through God. She continues to help others, even when she is going through so much herself. Recently, she had to quickly relocated from her place of residence of 4+yrs, due to Domestic Violence occuring. She was very grateful to so many for helping her move and relocate so fast. She felt at home in Athol, for the 6 days she was there.  Unfortunately, she can not return to her home in Ashburnham due to having a long term lease and the need of the income that comes from that home. She can afford to live with someone, and God has given her an opportunity that may work out in Athol.  Her life is a sober life, along with going to AA meetings and helping so many others, she is now the one who needs the help. Any and all donations will be so graciously accepted, and will be used for relocating again and replacing items from the fire. Colleen graduated from St. John Villa Academy, Class of 1983, Staten Island, NY and Graduated as an RN from Atlantic Union College, Class of 1994.
