Beat the Streets Chicago:  Making At-Risk Kids Champions in Wrestling and in Life

Beat the Streets Chicago (BTSC) is a youth development program designed to change the lives of at-risk kids. Here in Chicago, they strive to make quality wrestling accessible to all youth, in all neighborhoods, providing positive coaching, and mentoring and enrichment. BTS is creating life champions.

180 Engineering has committed to raising $200,000 of the funds needed for the new Beat the Streets facility on Chicago’s South Side. These funds will be raised via donations from individuals on this GoFundMe page, as well as larger contributions from benefactors, corporations, and foundations.

The $200,000 raised by the 180 Engineering campaign will be used to fund the build-out of the Beat the Street’s Enrichment Room—the hub for academic and life-preparedness programming—providing support to help kids excel in school and in life.  It’s exciting to think about how many kids we might inspire to pursue careers in engineering, IT, and other dynamic professions.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 from smaller donors on this GoFund me page - any contribution you could make would be so appreciated.

180 Engineering believes in changing the world by changing lives—one engineering candidate at a time and now one at-risk Chicago child at a time. Will you join us?
