Facing the Next Chapter: Help Natalie Fight Incurable Cancer

Hi, my name is Karen and I’m raising funds for my oldest and dearest friend Natalie.

Natalie has been fighting stage 4 bowel cancer for the past 18 months, enduring 7 life-saving surgeries and chemotherapy in the hope of removing all the cancer.

After what I thought was miraculous surgery, particularly the 2nd operation on her liver, I honestly thought Natalie was in the clear. However tragically this month we had the news that the cancer has metastasised to her lungs.

It’s absolutely devastating. As a single mum of two teenagers, Natalie is continuing to fight for her life and will be undergoing ongoing treatment for as long as it takes.

The whole way through this journey Natalie has remained so incredibly brave and positive. She’s dealing with this latest blow as a true fighter - I can only wish to have the same inner strength as her.
