Fadıl and Dina rebuild their bombarded home again.

Hi, my name is Fadıl El-Borno, and I am 30 years old. I was living a peaceful and happy life in the Gaza strip along with my beloved wife Dina.

My wife and I had a happy home with so many memories and dreams. We were living peacefully in our beloved and humble home sharing our dreams, stories, joy, sadness, and ambition together as a strong family, but unfortunately our happy life was stolen away from us by the war on the Gaza Strip. We were forced to leave our house behind and run away in an attempt to save our lives from the airstrikes and war crises. our home which costed us everything was destroyed in a blink of an eye leaving our dreams and hopes in its ruins.

Our home, which we really built and planned for every single corner of it was massively destroyed and its destruction devastated us a lot. Life as you know is tough and harsh sometimes. It is also short, and our home really took too much from us to establish.

other than my bombarded home, my whole life was taken away from me; I am basketball player and I was the captain of my team in Gaza Sporting Club. I really loved basketball so much in a way to more than just a game, because sport brings joy, love, and honest competition to the world. I really wanted to inspire the youth and to encourage them to play basketball to invoke love and peace in my community. This required a lot from me, and I was willing to make the regular balance in my life to chase this amazing dream of being an excellent basketball player and maybe coach in the future. This dream also was stolen by the shadows of war.
