Help the amazing Fae Nectar staff weather this storm

Greetings everyone! As you know, Hurricane Helene has devastated much of the southeast, especially Western North Carolina, and the twin towns of Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, North Carolina, home of Fae Nectar Meadery. Our hearts are broken for the loss of life and devastation of so many wonderful places, especially in neighboring Chimney Rock.

We are so relieved to share that all of the amazing staff of Fae Nectar have been accounted for and are faring as well as could be expected. Many live in the areas hardest hit: Fairview, Asheville, Black Mountain, Lake Lure, Hendersonville, and beyond.

We're also relieved that our building appears to have sustained only minor water damage. However, the property was fairly damaged, and our business prospects are pretty bleak right now. We'll keep everyone posted on our progress as we know more.

In the meantime, we're asking your help to support our staff. Fae Nectar has always been a scrappy company flying by the seat of its pants. All of our money has gone into the business during the past 4 years, so there is very little left to hand out at this point. If you've been to Fae Nectar, you know exactly how amazing each staff member is! We're hoping you can help us support them for a bit until things calm down and hopefully we get back to creating magical experiences in Lake Lure!

There are many urgent and worthy causes fundraising money right now, and we understand they might take higher priority, but if you have some funds to spare and want to help our wonderful fae stay afloat financially as well as literally, please consider supporting our employee fund. 100% of donations received will be distributed to the staff, listed below.
