Buongiorno a tutti, vi ringrazio in anticipo per l’attenzione mostrataci!
Avrete sicuramente visto la nostra tragedia in televisione, sul giornale o l’avrete sentita in radio il 7 novembre e nei giorni sucessivi.
Sono Marica, la fidanzata di Carlo Ferrandi, il 32enne che è stato selvaggiamente picchiato e ridotto in fin di vita dopo essere stati coinvolti in un incidente stradale a Corte Franca (Bs).
Eravamo insieme quando, dopo essere sceso dalla macchina per fare l’amichevole, lo vedo indietreggiare da un gruppo di 10 ragazzi e subito un ragazzo andando verso di lui di corsa lo riempie di pugni al volto, facendolo cadere e sbattere la testa sull’asfalto provocandogli una gravissima emorragia celebrale che per fortuna è stata operata in tempo ma nello stadio più avanzato, cosa che ha lesionato il cervello.
È stato tutto così veloce, io sono scesa dalla macchina e l’ho visto agonizzante a terra, privo di sensi, con gli occhi bianchi. Ho provato a rianimarlo ma non dava nessun cenno di vita. Così shoccata ho iniziato a piangere ed urlare a squarciagola in cerca di aiuto.
Sono arrivati i soccorsi che vedendo il suo stato lo hanno portato via con urgenza lasciandomi li da sola con l’incertezza se l’avrei mai più rivisto.
Nelle ore successive Carlo ha dovuto lottare tra la vita e la morte, essendo l’emorragia allo stadio più avanzato.
Il chirurgo ha dovuto inciderlo ed asportare una parte del suo cranio per permettere al cervello di espandersi dato che il sangue nella testa era troppo. Sono passati 3 mesi e la prognosi è ancora riservata.
Inizialmente aveva tutta la parte sinistra del corpo paralizzata, nell’arco di questi 3 mesi ha fatto riabilitazione ma senza grandi risultati, infatti non può camminare nonostante abbia una grande forza di volontà.
Carlo dovrà subire un altro intervento rischioso e delicato con anestesia totale per rimettere l’osso mancante.
Intanto la situazione è pericolosa e lo rende molto vulnerabile.
I danni non sono ancora chiari, ma è stata lesionata una parte fondamentale del cervello e Carlo ne sta risentendo molto.
I medici dicono che probabilmente avrà delle ripercussioni per tutta la vita.
Chi conosce Carlo sa che persona meravigliosa sia: un ragazzo gioioso, simpatico con tutti, pieno di vita, di voglia di fare, altruista e sempre pronto ad aiutare chi è nel bisogno,… Mi hanno toccata spesso i suoi gesti spontanei di solidarietà ed aiuto pratico nei confronti di chi ne aveva bisogno e dei meno fortunati o di chi stava soffrendo.
Ho visto Carlo soffrire tremendamente in questi 3 mesi, soprattutto fisicamente all’inizio ma anche per lo stato con cui è costretto a convivere e merita di poter tornare quello che era, usufruire delle migliori cure per poter recuperare la sua mobilità e tornare a vivere normalmente, con il suo lavoro che amava tanto, la sua fidanzata e la loro cagnolina.
Insomma, una famiglia che merita di tornare ad essere felice.
Il fondo serve anche per poter affrontare le spese odierne e future senza vivere con ulteriori preoccupazioni visto che al momento Carlo è costretto a letto e alla sedia a rotelle(che sopporta poco per il dolore alla schiena), non può camminare e per il momento non può tornare a lavorare, e se mai lo potrà fare dovrà prima fare molta riabilitazione e passerà molto tempo.
Vi ringraziamo con tutto il nostro cuore e confido che il bene che Carlo ha sempre fatto tornerà indietro ora che serve a lui.

I guess you have known about our tragedy by television and newspaper or heard on the radio on November 7th 2021 and in the next few days.
I am Marica, Carlo Ferrandi’s girlfriend, the 32-year-old man who was savagely beaten and nearly killed after being involved in a car accident in Corte Franca (Bs).
We were together when we had a car crash. Carlo got out of the car, and soon a group of 10 guys approached him. One of them hit him hard on his face and knocked him disastrously to the ground . The guy didn’t have any logical reason to do it. Carlo fell down and hit his head on the asphalt: the violent bump caused a massive brain hemorrhage. Fortunately it was operated on time, but we still do not know if some damages remain. It was all so fast, I got out of the car and I saw him dying on the ground, unconscious. I tried to resuscitate him but he did not give any sign of life. I was shocked. I began to cry and scream in search of help.
Help arrived. The medical staff urgently took him to the hospital. His conditions were really alarming. They left me there alone . I was uncertain if I would ever see him again.
In the following hours Carlo had to struggle between life and death, the hemorrhage being at the most advanced stage.
The surgeon had to carve and remove part of his skull to allow the brain to expand as the bleeding was too much. Three months have passed and the prognosis is still confidential.
Initially it had all the left part of the body paralyzed. In the last 3 months he got rehabilitation but without great results, in fact he cannot walk despite having a great willpower before the accident.
Carlo will have to undergo another risky and delicate surgery with total anesthesia to restore the missing bone.
Meanwhile, the situation is dangerous and makes him very vulnerable.
The damage is not yet clear, but a fundamental part of the brain has been damaged and Carlo is suffering a lot.
Doctors say that he will probably have repercussions for the rest of your life.
His friends know what a wonderful person Carlo is: he is a joyful young man, nice to everyone, full of life, altruistic and always ready to help the ones in need ... I have often been touched by his spontaneous solidarity and practical help towards those who needed it, to less fortunate ones or to those who were suffering.
I saw Carlo suffer tremendously in these 3 months, especially physically but also for the condition he is forced to live in , he deserves to be able to return to what he was, to take advantage of the best care in order to recover his mobility and to return to live normally, with his job that he loved so much, his girlfriend and their dog.
I mean, a family that deserves to be happy again.
The fund is also important to face current and future expenses . Carlo deserves to live with no further worries because at the moment he is forced to stay in bed or to be carried by a wheelchair - which he hardly bears because of pain on his back. He can’t walk and he can’t go back to his work now. He is going to have a lot of rehab.
We thank you with all our heart and trust that the good that Carlo has always done will come back now that he needs it.
