A Symphony of Support: Help Us Reach Our Goal
Tax deductible
The Fairfield County Symphony Society (FCSS) is a warm and welcoming community orchestra where musicians of all skill levels and musical backgrounds come together to share the joy of making music. Whether you're looking to improve your sight-reading, discover new music, or simply make new friends, FCSS offers a place where you can bring music into your life every week.
Founded in 1976, FCSS has traditionally relied on its dedicated members to fund its operating expenses. However, as we strive to grow our membership and music library, and present more concerts for our community, the costs of running the orchestra continue to rise. We are working to increase support from both our members and the community at large to help cover things like rehearsal space, conductor fees, sheet music, equipment, guest musicians and soloists, and marketing.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a big impact. Consider contributing to a music score ($50) or one rehearsal session ($80), sponsoring a guest soloist ($100) or a musician in need ($200), or covering music for the entire year ($500). If your organization would like to contribute, we would be delighted to recognize your support by listing you as a contributing partner on our website! With big plans ahead, including a special 50th anniversary celebration in 2026, your support will help us continue making music and strengthen our community. Thank you for being a part of our journey!
