Fairmont Hospital has a rich history spanning the past 136 years. Today, Fairmont provides a hospital-based Skilled Nursing Facility for long-term care services to patients whose complex needs after acute hospitalization cannot be met in a community skilled nursing facility.
The Patient Activities Dept, whose role is to enhance quality of lives, provides activities (movies, ball games, country faire, outings, etc) for the residents throughout the year. In addition to the medical needs of the resident, engaging in day to day activities is apart of their healing.
During the holidays it is our desire to provide the residents with a holiday gift so that they feel valued and remembered. Many of our residents do not have family, therefore, the staff at FH become their family. We would need your help in making this holiday special for them. Funds go to purchasing needed items such as sweatshirts, sweatpants, socks, beanies, gloves, soft blankets, grooming supplies, etc.
