Faith based Sober Living Home for women!!

Hello, I am Leanne. I am fundraising to open Tender Loving Christ. A faith-based sober living recovery home for women! My FULL video testimony is posted on Tender Loving Christ Facebook page. I struggled with alcohol and prescription pills for several years. I sought help through several different secular programs. One was top-rated in the nation. I tried inpatient, outpatient, a few different sober living homes, therapy, you name it I tried it and nothing worked. Fortunately, my family stepped in and I was able to get sober for a little over a year. During that year I was still really struggling with my mental health and I did relapse. My family was done and stepped away (as they should). I'd burned every bridge. I was headed into another spiral. I knew if I didn't get help it would spiral sending me to jail or even worse my grave. I surrendered my life completely to the Lord knowing he was the only one who could save me. I found a one-year faith-based residential program for women. It was at Come As You Are where I was set free, healed and delivered from the bondage of all my trauma, hurts, no self-worth, alcohol, prescription pills. That is when God laid it on my heart to help other women. I NEVER thought I would find true freedom. I knew if God could heal me he could use me to help other women. It was when I graduated CAYA, that sober living was put on my heart like a fire. I watched several of my sisters in Christ work so hard to graduate and not have a safe place to go home to. This is very common for many of us when we go into treatment. I was very fortunate to be able to transition home but that was still changing my people, places and things. It took a lot of work and planning while in CAYA to make sure I transitioned home safely. When I moved home I stayed in ministry by mentoring other women and helping women find treatment and continued working with CAYA. I continued praying about sober living and God has been opening doors. Tender Loving Christ will provide a safe sober home for these women in the Denver, CO area where they can continue walking their journey with Jesus while finding freedom. I had lost everything in addiction and had to start all over again. TLC will work hand in hand with the women and help them budget, get their Driver's license back, get caught up on court fines, help them get caught up on child support, and so much more. Tender Loving Christ is a nonprofit 501(c)3 so all donations are tax-deductible. I am also asking for prayer. I am a strong believer in prayer and power in numbers.
