"This is the most transformational show I've ever seen." - Actress, Jenna Jai
Whew! Humble beginnings from the Southside of Sacramento, homelessness, depression, a pandemic, booking my first leading role on the TV Series “Blindspotting” on Starz to then suffering an industry strike.... WHAT A JOURNEY IT HAS BEEN!
For those of you who have been following my journey, you know it hasn't been easy. I've faced many challenges, but I've always persevered. Through sharing my journey, I hope to inspire others to never give up!
I'm excited to share that my solo show, A ROSE CALLED CANDACE will be making its ATL debut in the 13th Annual Atlanta Black Theatre Festival!! Performing Saturday 8/31, 2PM @ The Southwest Arts Center.
My show has previously been showcased Off-Broadway in New York, Los Angeles and now, it’s heading to ATLANTA!
But I need your help to get there! To cover expenses like travel, lodging, transportation, marketing, stage crew, props etc, I’m aiming to raise $10,000.
A ROSE CALLED CANDACE is a 60-minute storytelling experience of my life that has touched many hearts. This show is my purpose, and I believe our stories can heal and transform.
Join me in this journey of freedom and transformation. No amount is too small. Let’s make it to Atlanta and make an impact together!
