Faith Larsen

On Saturday, October 15th, Faith Larsen collapsed while playing basketball with friends at Maple River High School. She received CPR from her friends while they waited for emergency support. Faith was transported to Mankato - Mayo Clinic Health System and then airlifted to Rochester. Medical personnel were able to get her heart restarted, but despite the efforts of some friends and local authorities, Faith went without oxygen to the brain for too long.

Faith passed away surrounded by her loving family, her dad, Terry, her mom, Roxy, her sisters, Samatha and Jennifer, and her brother Brian. Her two beloved Bernese Mountain dogs are missing their sweet girl.

Dear Terry,

Last year Mayo had over 1000 deaths and only 15 organ donors.

This is a very rare event. Nationally less than 1% of the population are able to be donors.

Faith is the only person in the hospital now that is going to give the gift of life!
