Faith over fear…. Help someone who has helped so many…

As some of you would already be aware our beautiful Kerry was diagnosed last year with breast and lung cancer and underwent a year of Chemotherapy which is still ongoing…

After almost 14 months, it genuinely felt like the worst was in the past and she could turn over a new leaf. Unfortunately Kerrys latest tests showed that wouldn't be the case the tumors have now spread to her brain and she has to undergo further chemotherapy and radiation, affecting her physical and mental health.

As some of us may have experienced with family or friends before, it's not only a long physical and emotional road to recovery. The financial debt, time away from work which she was hoping to get back to, and constant uncertainty can be devastating.

Those fortunate to know her can attest to how beautifully kind, loving and selfless she is. She’s the kind of mother, grandmother, sister, aunty and friend that genuinely helps us all appreciate beautiful moments in life often overlooked. She's the one that most people turn to when they need a hug, a smile or a friend…

As a compassionate nurse, she has given so much of herself to caring for the most vulnerable in our community. On the pandemics front line or not, she always puts others wellbeing above her own.

Now we want to return that compassion.

As a collective, our generosity will make a meaningful difference to lighten an unimaginably heavy load on Kerrys shoulders.
