Faith’s Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Dear friends,
My name is Gail and my beautiful friend, Faith, is battling Metastatic cancer. This type of breast cancer is extremely aggressive, very invasive, harder to treat. Faith is a 46 year old, single mom fighting a hard fight. Faith is an employee of the Warwick school department and has two daughters, one of which is a student at Pilgrim high school. She also has a 1 year old grandson. She is a very companionate, genuine, selfless person.
Faith’s battle started in 2019 when she was first diagnosed with Triple negative breast cancer. She endured 8 rounds of chemo and then underwent surgery for a lumpectomy. After 4 more rounds of chemo pills and 6 weeks of radiation, her first battle ended in April of 2020.
In March of 2021, she was diagnosed with recurring triple negative breast cancer. She underwent a double mastectomy and 4 more rounds of chemo. In October of 2021, a tumor was discovered in her brain, so she had another surgery to remove the tumor. Afterwards, a PET scan revealed that more tumors lived in the brain, liver, lungs, kidneys and her pelvic. She has since endured another 5 more treatments of radiation and Immunotherapy. After a Cat scan, an MRI and a bone scan, the doctor concluded that the treatments were not working. She has now begun a Trodelvy chemotherapy, which will hopefully slow down the growth of the tumors.
Knowing Faith and seeing her battle like a true warrior, I felt the need to help somehow. This fundraiser is to help offset our friend Faith’s medical costs for all her treatments and to relieve some of the burden of unforeseen expenses.
Please pray for and help support our friend Faith.
