Mission Trip to the Philippines

A little context:
Hi there friends! As many of you don't know God has been placing a call to ministry in my heart over the past several years and to be honest I have tried to ignore, dismiss, run and completely avoid the inevitable. I've grown up seeing many men who were not called to ministry but went into ministry suffer greatly for it. I've always understood the incredible responsibility and weight ministry carries and Hebrews 13:17 and 1 Timothy 3:1-7 make some pretty bold statements for those pursing ministry.
I had convinced myself if God's will for me was to pursue missions/ministry he would make it abundantly clear, and oh how he has. The Lord has funny way of creating a desire in us for things others would consider foolish. So I took a step out of my comfort zone and obeyed by enrolling at Southern Evangelical Seminary in the fall of 2017.
I knew having some solid Theological training under my belt would be important and Jericha and I have been consistently brought back to missions as the call on our life. So as a final confirmation and amazing opportunity, I will be flying to Manila Philippines for a 10 day mission trip with the Philippine Mission Association.
The purpose of the trip:
The purpose is to equip 200 church planters and evangelize to 5,000 students. We will be spending our time between Manila, Paranque, Cebu, Davo and Gensan Philippines. This is an evangelistic mission trip and it's primary purpose is to preach to as many unreached people as possible by spreading the gospel in schools and supporting the church planters in the Philippines.
About the Philippines:
Currently there are 30 unreached people groups in the Philippines, comprising of 5.3 million unreach people. When you hear the word unreached, this does not simply mean "lost" or "non-christian". This means they have never heard the gospel or heard of Jesus Christ, this means without outside influence they will go their entire lives without knowing or ever hearing the life saving news of the gospel.
Finances:
This trip requires a lot of flying, not only internationally but once in the Philippines there are several domestic flights required to get to each of the islands. Fortunately most things in the Philippines are cheaper then what we would get in the US. Lodging, food and miscellaneous costs should be lower. Any additional funds donated over the goal will be donated back into missions and given to advance the kingdom in Asia.
