The Sigma Chi Fraternity has the great privilege of supporting the Huntsman Cancer Institute, an NCI-designated cancer research center and hospital located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The institute provides personalized care for all of its patients through new and innovative technologies.

Internationally, the Sigma Chi Fraternity and Huntsman Cancer Institute decided to team up in 2012 with one goal in mind, to become the generation to end cancer.

Since 2012, Sigma Chi has helped raise over $10,000,000 in its efforts to support the institute. As a fraternity, we decided that there was still more work to be done. In 2019, we pledged to raise an additional $20,000,000 towards research and care specifically for women's cancer. The Eta Phi chapter will be having our Fall 2022 philanthropy week from November 14th - 18th, the chapter's goal is to raise a combined sum of $10,000 to donate to Huntsman Cancer Institute.
