Farmers Market Update
My Dear Fallbrookians,
The collaboration of Welcome Back and Stover's Sasshole Enterprises were informed on Friday that their funding source has been frozen due to CoVId-19.
We were sadden by this news, but we are not going down without a fight to bring Fallbrook their farmers market. We are committed to bridging the gap of the possible " food chain breakdown" and allow Fallbrook to sustain itself during these times.
We need to raise $2500 to cover the cost of county permits, and insurance for the event.
This market under the Covid-19 conditions is purely an act of love by both organizations working to bring you a way to provide a sustainable food supply and bridge the gap of the food chain breakdown. No one is taking home a paycheck and the charity is making zero money.
This market was promised to the Farmers at a " NO FEE" market for them, as we wanted to support the farmers economy while bringing a top notch Farmers Market event to town.
Due to current Covid- 19 protocols we are only allowed to have Farmers at this market. To uphold our promises to the farmers leaves us with zero income to pay for permits and insurance.
Please consider donating to our Farmers Market Fund, we look forward to bringing you the Farmers Market Mid- June 2020!
