Fallen firefighter David Campbell family support
Donation protected
On December 23, 2022, Rock Hill Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic David Campbell lost his life in a tragic car accident on his way to work. David spent his life serving others as a firefighter, paramedic and a proud member of the South Carolina National Guard. He has volunteered and worked at multiple fire departments and EMS agencies in the area and was a vital member of each of them. While David loved helping others, the thing that gave him the greatest joy was his family. David leaves behind a wife (Mandy) and two children (Raelyn and Ryker) whom he adored more than anything. He loved taking his kids on all sorts of outdoor adventures but he most enjoyed fishing and hunting with them. His children were his world and this loss has left them with a massive void.
If you ask anyone who knew David, the one thing they will all tell you is how much David loved to tell stories. Once he had you hooked, you'd better grab a seat because you weren't going anywhere for a while. He truly loved talking to people and making connections. His laid-back demeanor, sense of humor, smile and laugh will truly be missed by many.
The money raised from this will go directly towards supporting David's two children. They have suffered a great loss and will miss their greatest supporter and best friend. Please consider donating to help ease the burden on the family.
