Fallen Rider Cody Burnett Memorial Fund

No one expects their child to be taken from them at such a young age. Cody was merely 18 years old when he tragically died after he and his beloved motorcycle collided with a large truck on his way home from school. 

Cody graduated from Fuquay Varina High School in 2020, and was attending WTCC for Engineering. This young man was passionate about riding, and had a very bright future ahead of him. 

Sadly he’s no longer with us. However he leaves behind his loving parents Amy and Scott, as well as his older brother and young sister. No one expects their 18yo son to die so young and unexpectedly. His parents are now burdened with paying off the motorcycle and damages; as well as his final expenses.  

At a time like this, no parent should have to worry about financial woes brought by such a dreadful disaster as they grieve and bury their young son. 

I have an 18yo son as well who happens to be passionate about motorcycles, as I am, and was at their age. I can’t imagine losing my son, or the heartache and pain this sudden tragedy must be causing his family and close friends. 

All proceeds raised here will go directly to Cody’s parents to help them with the aforementioned financial burdens brought on by this tragic turn of events.
