Fallen Veteran Blake Johnson Memorial Fund

Blake Johnson was born on October 24, 1984 in Nebraska and passed away at the young age of 35 on November 26, 2019. Blake was raised in Colorado for most of his childhood, until moving to Missouri where he graduated high school in 2003. Blake was a combat arms soldier who served honorably in the Army from 2005 through 2008, with a 15 month combat deployment to Iraq. Blake is survived by his 4 children, a daughter born in 2013, a son in 2015, and a set of twins (boy/girl) in 2017. Blake (or BJ as he was affectionately known by us) was admittedly one of my favorite soldier's in Iraq. He was a soft spoken big guy, with an even bigger heart. You would be hard pressed to find BJ without a giant smile from ear to ear and an uncanny ability to make you laugh at the most random of times. It can't be understated how valuable that quality was when fighting overseas. This world is most certainly a lesser place with him gone.
