Falmouth Skatepark Project

Hi, my name is Helen Forrester and I am Christian Holdfast’s mum. We sadly lost Christian to cancer a little over 3 years ago and next June would have been his 50th birthday. I wanted to find an appropriate way to mark this occasion and, as a passionate skateboarder and tattoo artist I have found a way. I approached a very good friend of his who is on the committee of the Falmouth Skatepark Project to see if he could help me to put some of Christian’s artwork onto skateboards and apparel and Simon has worked tirelessly to help me achieve this and create an event at a local skatepark run by other very good friends of Christian’s Sarah and Eddie.

Christian worked as both a boatbuilder and tattoo artist all over the world and I know that many many of his friends won’t be able to attend our event in person but would still like to contribute and feel part of the event so I decided to set up this fundraiser. I look forward to seeing many of you in person and being supported in spirit by so many more.

Christian would be so happy and I am so proud to have been able, with a lot of help, to make this possible. Think of this as a 50th birthday present to Christian.
